- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk (whole or any preferred type)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
- 1 cup fresh blackberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin pan or line it with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, and milk until smooth.
- Gently fold fresh blackberries into the wet mixture.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until just combined; do not overmix.
- Divide the batter among muffin cups and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. A toothpick inserted should come out clean.
- Allow to cool slightly before enjoying.
Notes
- If you prefer, you can replace blackberries with other berries.
- These muffins can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
