A delicious baked dish made with croissants, cream cheese, and fresh blueberries.

- 8 large croissants (preferably day-old)
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- Powdered sugar for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Slice croissants in half lengthwise. Arrange the bottoms in the dish.
- Beat softened cream cheese with granulated sugar and remaining vanilla until smooth.
- Spread cream cheese mixture over croissant bottoms.
- Scatter fresh blueberries over the cream cheese layer.
- Add the croissant tops and gently press down.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, remaining vanilla, and sugar until smooth.
- Pour custard evenly over croissants. Let it soak for 15 minutes.
- Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes until golden brown and custard is set.
- Cool for 10 minutes before serving. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
- For best results, use day-old croissants.
- This dish can be served warm or at room temperature.
