Description

Deliciously roasted parsnips with garlic and herbs.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound parsnips, peeled and cut into even-sized sticks
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • Optional: Fresh herbs (like parsley or thyme) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Peeled and cut the parsnips into sticks of uniform size.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  4. Add the parsnip sticks to the bowl and toss them in the garlic butter mixture until coated.
  5. Spread the parsnips in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and tender.
  7. Once done, remove from the oven, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve warm.
