- 8 oz pasta of your choice (spaghetti or penne recommended)
- 1/4 cup pure honey
- 2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients: mince the garlic and measure the honey.
- Cook the pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
- Sauté the chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and chicken seasoned with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown (6-8 minutes per side).
- Add garlic and honey: Once the chicken is cooked through, stir in minced garlic and drizzle with honey until fragrant.
- Combine: Toss in the drained pasta along with reserved pasta water, mixing until well combined.
- Finish: Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top while tossing until melted. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
