Ingredients

- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 24 ladyfinger biscuits
- 1/2 cup limoncello liqueur
- 2 fresh lemons (zest and juice)
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
Instructions
- Brew coffee or espresso and mix in limoncello.
- In a bowl, whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale; gradually add mascarpone until smooth.
- Fold in lemon zest and juice.
- Briefly dip ladyfingers into the coffee-limoncello mix and layer them in a dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers; repeat layers.
- Dust with cocoa powder and chill for at least 4 hours before serving.

- This dessert can be made a day ahead to enhance flavors.
